Polina enjoys the challenge of tailoring treatments to fit each patient’s need to make sure they get the most benefit, whether they are on their rehabilitation journey or coming in to destress from the on-going pressures of everyday’s life.
Polina Poberezhnyk, RMT
Polina is a recent graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Her passion for anatomy and physiology first sparked while being involved in gymnastics, as an athlete and a coach. Then, she pursued a neurobiology degree, discovering the complexity of human body even more which led her to finally become a part of an incredible and rewarding field of healthcare, massage therapy.
Polina has had opportunities to work in various environments during her clinical practicums including sports, pre- and post-natal massages, providing treatments to patients with spinal cord and brain injuries, working with populations in long-term facilities, and even infants.
Throughout these experiences, she learned that she enjoys the challenge of tailoring treatments to fit each patient’s need to make sure they get the most benefit, whether they are on their rehabilitation journey or coming in to destress from the on-going pressures of everyday’s life. Polina practices deep tissue massage incorporating active techniques to involve the patient in their progress at their own pace for rehabilitation purposes in overcoming chronic pain and tension. Also, personalizing relaxation treatments to help find peace and tranquility.
