If you’ve never had massage therapy before. What should you expect:
a. Patient Assessment: your RMT will perform a comprehensive assessment based on history, observation, palpation, movement, neurology, referred sensation, and special tests as relevant.
b. Formulating a Treatment Plan: designing and implementing a treatment plan that is unique and curated for you!
c. Home Care: as effective as a massage is, your RMT wants to make sure that you have all the tools necessary to maintain the post massage relief you experience. Your RMT will give you stretches, techniques, strengthening exercises, lifestyle modifications and recommendations. It is for these reasons that your appointment is so much more than just a massage. It’s a pillar in your journey to a more holistic lifestyle.

2. Do you do Pregnancy (Pre-Natal) Massage?
Yes, there is a special booking link for all pregnancy massages. Click here to book your pregnancy massage online.
We provide the option to use our special pregnancy pillow which will allow you to lay comfortably on your stomach for your appointment no matter how far along you are.
3. How does direct billing work?
For your first massage, you will fill in an intake form. We will need your Policy Number, ID Number (or Member Certificate Number), your Birthdate, name of the primary insurer if it isn’t you, and your full legal name.
4. Is there parking?
Yes, there is 2 hour max street metered parking, an easypark on Pender and Cambie, and free 2 hour parking in Tinsletown Mall Parking Garage on Carrall and Pender Street. Free parking outside our main st location

8. Is there a waiting area?
Yes, we have seating outside of the treatment rooms. If the door says “in session” please have a seat outside and wait for your therapist to call you in.

10. COVID-19 Precautions and Requirements
If you have a mask, please bring it. If not, we have plenty of single use PPE available. Your therapist will have that conversation with you before your treatment.
Patients and Therapists must wash their hands before entering the treatment space and after they leave.

12. What is your cancellation policy?
Unfortunately if you cancel your appointment for any reason within 24 hours you are liable to pay for the appointment. Your RMT reserves your spot, which if cancelled leaves a hole in their day. This reduces their income and take home pay so we need to ensure stable predictable income for each of our therapists. I hope you understand.
